Oct 01 32 Jacques6 I m surprised you don t use scrap metal for your work since you like the post apocalyptic look Architects prefer mill finish because it can be combined with a bunch of different textur When I used mill finish I used it to add an interesting feel A mill designed for large logs just may not handle small logs the way you want The expense of a larger mill may be more than you need to pay On the other hand a mill too small can be easily damaged by large logs and will waste both your time and valuable wood
